All order transactions are encrypted across the Internet and authenticated using 128 bit digital certificates, which are compliant with x509v3 standards for a public key infrastructure (PKI). This applies both to Internet and VPN users. Digital certificates are used in conjunction with user sign-on controls as a stronger form of authentication and non-repudiation of orders beyond traditional ID and password systems.
